Future Ruins 11:07
The binds of time surround us Monoliths with crumble and fall Tenuous ties we think will define us Eyes drink in what they never saw Rain Brings Life Air Breeds Decay Steel Sighs Rust Stone Quivers And Shakes The schism is beauty To leave these ruins behind The roots erode the terrain The links of time corrode in the chain Rain Brings Life Air Breeds Decay Steel Sighs Rust Stone Quivers And Shakes Our voices linger faintly Through the overgrowth From the ruins To the grounds below Giving way to life And so echoes again…

To what do we owe this rabid imposition Bearing it’s teeth as we spit on its grave Filling your time chasing demons out the holler Overlooking the landscape there’s nothing to save Raise the steeple Raze their fields of grain Raise a new generation Past the unsilent grave The eyes of the wood pass silent judgment The song repeats even as the winds turn A mantric dance to chase demons out the holler To share a destiny with the worm Father spilled his seed Mother barren soil Children never born The leveled fields breathe a stale new life The teeth that were found split open new veins A new god can see through the twisted roots These roots were our veins, these roots were our life
